Russia’s war casualty toll in Ukraine up by 1,560 over past day

The total combat losses of Russian forces since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, have reached approximately 1,364,060 personnel, including 1,560 troops eliminated over the past 24 hours.

The figures were published by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

As of May 31, 2026, Ukraine's Defense Forces have also destroyed the following Russian military equipment: 11,962 tanks (+2), 24,657 armored combat vehicles (+14), 42,987 artillery systems (+57), 1,819 multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) (+6), 1,399 air defense systems (+1), 436 aircraft (+0), 353 helicopters (+0), 1,519 ground robotic systems (+19), 320,327 operational-tactical UAVs (+1,894), 4,693 cruise missiles (+0), 33 warships/boats (+0), 2 submarines (+0), 101,237 vehicles and fuel tankers (+524), 4,234 pieces of special equipment (+3).

The General Staff notes that the figures are being updated.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, 232 combat engagements took place along the front line on May 30. The heaviest fighting was recorded in the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole sectors.
