Russian drone strikes apartment building in Kharkiv

An eight-year-old boy experienced an acute stress reaction following a strike by a Russian drone on a residential building in Kharkiv.

Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"The enemy launched a UAV strike on Kharkiv's Industrialnyi district. According to preliminary information, the impact was recorded in a nine-story building," he wrote.

All emergency services are heading to the scene, the regional governor said.

He added that as a result of the attack, the eight-year-old boy suffered an acute stress reaction. Medical personnel are providing the child with all necessary assistance.

Later, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov specified that the drone struck the technical floor of the nine-story building.

"Two people have been injured (as of this moment), the elevator shaft was damaged, and about thirty windows were shattered. The building inspection is ongoing," the mayor wrote.
