Russians attack facility in Konotop; five people wounded

Five civilians were injured today as a result of a Russian attack on the Konotop community in the Sumy region.

According to Ukrinform, Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.

As noted, all of them are employees of a local enterprise.

“Four of the injured are in moderate condition. Medical personnel are providing them with all necessary assistance,” said Hryhorov.

Another victim is already receiving outpatient treatment.

According to the State Emergency Service, private residential buildings, hospital facilities, administrative buildings, a civilian infrastructure facility, and vehicles were damaged. Fires broke out.

Due to the threat from the air, State Emergency Service specialists temporarily suspended operations.

Konotop Mayor Artem Semenikhin reported on Telegram that five civilians sustained injuries of varying severity.

Earlier reports indicated that over 30 shelling incidents were recorded in the Sumy region over the past 24 hours, targeting 19 settlements across 12 communities in the region. There are casualties.
