Russia’s war casualty toll in Ukraine up by 1,180 over past day

The total combat losses of Russian forces since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, through April 28, 2026, are estimated at about 1,327,640 personnel, including 1,180 over the past day.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

According to the update, Russia has also lost: 11,892 tanks (+0), 24,483 armored combat vehicles (+16), 40,771 artillery systems (+34), 1,755 multiple launch rocket systems (+2), 1,354 air defense systems (+0), 435 aircraft (+0), 350 helicopters (+0), 260,258 operational-tactical UAVs (+1,039), 4,579 cruise missiles (+0), 33 warships/boats (+0), 2 submarines (+0), 91,986 vehicles and fuel tankers (+276), 4,141 pieces of special equipment (+5).

As previously reported by Ukrinform, as of 22:00 on April 27, there had been 182 combat clashes between Ukraine’s Defense Forces and Russian troops, including 38 in the Pokrovsk sector.
