Consequences of massive strike on Yampil community in Sumy region revealed

Rescue workers have revealed the consequences of a massive Russian strike on the Yampil community in the Sumy region.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on the Telegram channel of the Sumy region State Emergency Service.

“Overnight, the enemy launched a massive strike on one of the villages in the Yampil community. Homes and non-residential buildings sustained significant damage. Large-scale fires broke out,” the statement said.

According to reports, rescue workers had to respond to three different locations simultaneously.

Due to the complex security situation, operations were periodically suspended.

Unfortunately, the body of a deceased civilian was found in one of the houses.

The fires have now been extinguished, the Sumy Regional State Emergency Service reported.

Earlier, it was reported that Russians destroyed a civilian infrastructure facility in Shostka with an airstrike.

As reported by Ukrinform, power outages have increased in the Shostka district of the Sumy region due to Russian attacks.
