Russians attack Chernihiv region with drones; two people injured

In a village in the Mryn community in Chernihiv region, two people were injured, and homes and cars belonging to civilians were damaged as a result of morning drone attacks by the Russian Federation.

According to Ukrinform, the Chernihiv Regional Police reported this on Telegram.

“This morning, the Russians once again attacked the Chernihiv region with drones. In a village in the Mryn community of the Nizhyn district, damage was recorded to several residential buildings, farm structures, and cars belonging to locals. Two people were injured—a 55-year-old woman and a 58-year-old man,” the statement said.

Police noted that investigative and operational teams are working at the scene, recording the destruction, documenting the consequences of the attack, and collecting evidence of a war crime.

As reported by Ukrinform, most districts in the Chernihiv region are without power following Russian strikes on energy infrastructure overnight and this morning.
