Deadly strike on Nikopol market: Injury toll rises to 25, five killed

The number of people injured in a Russian morning strike on a market in Nikopol has risen to 25, while five were killed.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Telegram by Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Hanzha.

“The number of those injured in the morning Russian strike on the market in Nikopol has risen to 25. Eight of the victims have been hospitalized. A 14-year-old girl has been taken to a regional hospital,” the statement reads.


The official also confirmed that five people were killed in the attack and expressed condolences to the families of the victims.

As reported earlier, in the morning of April 4, Russian forces struck Nikopol with FPV drones. Initial reports indicated five dead and 22 injured.
