The SSU, together with the UAV Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, carried out a second strike this month on the Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant in temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region.

According to Ukrinform, the SSU reported this on its website.

The plant's products are supplied to Russia's Uralvagonzavod, where military equipment for the Russian army is produced, including T-90M "Proryv" tanks and "Msta-S" howitzers.

After identifying the locations of the plant's critical production facilities, drone strikes were carried out using FP-2 drones produced by Fire Point.

As a result of the strike, blast furnaces, key production workshops, distillation columns, gas pipelines, and electrical substations that support the plant's operations were damaged. Due to the damage, the plant has ceased operations.

As reported, in late March, units of Ukraine's Defense Forces had already struck the Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant.
