Ukraine’s Air Assault Forces commander names most successful operations of his units

Apostol said this in an interview with Ukrinform.

“Among the most successful operations by Air Assault Forces units, I would highlight the defense of Voznesensk, offensive actions in the Mykolaiv, Kharkiv and Kursk regions, as well as in the Dobropillia and Oleksandrivka sectors, and the stabilization of critical sections of the front by Air Assault brigades, where all units were engaged and are now holding their positions,” the commander said.

According to him, the greatest achievement is when a senior commander who has been given a brigade or an Air Assault Forces unit under their command is confident in its actions. Such a unit will accomplish its assigned mission, and everyone will have reliable information.

Apostol noted that the Air Assault Forces are provided with everything they need.

“As for weapons, we would like the situation to be better, but we depend heavily on our partners in many respects. The enemy is also experiencing problems with this now. If certain weapons are not available, we will not receive them either,” the commander added.

As reported by Ukrinform, in the Oleksandrivka sector of the front, Air Assault Forces units have already liberated 11 settlements where no civilians remain.
