War update: 64 clashes on front lines, most clashes reported in Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka sectors

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

“Since the start of the day, the aggressor has already launched 64 attacks,” the report states as of 4:00 p.m.

According to the General Staff, artillery shelling of border areas continues. Today in the Sumy region, the settlements of Tovstodubove, Korenok, Bachivsk, Vilna Sloboda, Ryzhivka, Khodyne, Fotovyzh, Iskryskivshchyna, and Kysla Dubyna were affected. Additionally, the enemy carried out airstrikes on the areas surrounding the settlements of Luzhky and Esman in the Sumy region.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, the Russian Federation continues its attack on our troops’ positions near Myropilske; furthermore, the enemy carried out 63 shelling attacks on settlements and Ukrainian military positions, one of which involved the use of multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the invaders twice stormed the positions of Defense Forces units in the areas of the settlements of Starytsia and Krasne Pershe.

In the Kupiansk sector, the Russian Federation’s army attempted eight times to improve its position in the areas of the settlements of Kurylivka, Pishchane, Kivsharivka, and Novoplatonivka. Five clashes are still ongoing.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian troops repelled four attempts by the invaders to advance toward Lyman.

In the Sloviansk and Kramatorsk sectors, the enemy did not carry out any active operations.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, the invaders carried out 13 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Stepanivka, Yablunivka, and Sofiivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, since the start of the day, the occupiers have attempted 18 times to dislodge Ukrainian troops from their positions near the settlements of Bilytske, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Pokrovsk, Novomykolaivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novopidhorodne, and Filiia. Two firefights are still ongoing.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy launched three attacks in the areas of Oleksandrohrad and Novohryhorivka. Two firefights are currently ongoing.

In the Huliaipole sector, the Defense Forces successfully repelled ten attacks in the areas of Varvarivka, Zaliznychne, Huliaipole, Tsvitkove, Hirke, Sviatopetrivka, Olenokostiantynivka, and Myrne. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Vozdvyzhenske, Verkhnia Tersa, and Huliaipilske. Three more clashes are ongoing.

In the Orikhiv sector, the Russian Federation’s army carried out airstrikes on the areas of the settlements of Mykilske and Tavriiske.

In the Prydniprovske sector, the enemy carried out two unsuccessful attacks toward the Antonivskyi Bridge and near Bilohrudyi Island.

According to the General Staff, in other sectors, there have been no significant changes in the situation. No attempts by the enemy to advance have been recorded.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Russian army is attempting to intensify its offensive operations on the front lines.
