Russian forces strike car in Kherson with drone: Two dead, one injured

Russian forces dropped an explosive device from a drone onto a car in Kherson; two female passengers were killed, and the driver was injured.

According to Ukrinform, the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this on Telegram.

“On April 1, 2026, at approximately 11:20 a.m., Russian troops dropped an explosive device from a UAV onto a car in Kherson. Two female passengers were killed in the attack. The driver was injured and taken to the hospital,” the statement said.

The prosecutor’s office has launched a pre-trial investigation into the commission of a war crime resulting in the death of people (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The Kherson Regional Military Administration reported that two residents of Bilozerka, who came under enemy fire on the afternoon of March 31, sought medical attention at the hospital. A 60-year-old woman and a 62-year-old man with blast injuries and concussions were hospitalized.

As reported by Ukrinform, on March 31 in the Kherson region, one person was killed, and five others were wounded as a result of Russian aggression.
