Eighty percent of cases involving the detection and destruction of Russian occupiers are carried out using unmanned aerial systems.

Illia Mashyna, commander of the 431st Separate Unmanned Aerial Systems Battalion “Brodiaga,” made this statement during a broadcast on Ukrainian Radio.

"Unmanned aerial systems currently play one of the key roles on the front lines. 80% of enemy detection and destruction occurs with the help of unmanned systems," the military officer noted.

However, he noted that every 2–3 months, the war changes so dynamically that you don’t have time to adapt to it. "The enemy devises countermeasures against our assets. We can no longer conduct in-depth reconnaissance as easily as before. Accordingly, we need to make changes as well," he added.

The battalion commander said that the situation in the Novopavlivka sector of operations is currently difficult but under control. The enemy continues to attempt to break through in this sector, suffering heavy losses as a result. However, the Russians are not achieving significant results. The defense forces are doing the impossible to hold back the enemy’s offensive, which has far greater resources, he noted.
