Six-year-old girl dies in hospital in Sumy region after Russian attack on March 28

A six-year-old girl who was injured during a Russian attack on March 28 has died in a hospital in the Sumy region.
According to Ukrinform, the Sumy regional prosecutor's office reported this on Telegram.
"Unfortunately, today a six-year-old girl who was wounded on March 28, 2026, during the shelling of a residential building in the Znob-Novhorodske community of Shostka district, Sumy region, died in hospital," the prosecutor's office said.
At the time, her 20-year-old sister was also killed. As Ukrinform previously reported, on March 28, a 20-year-old woman was killed in the Znob-Novhorodske community as a result of Russian artillery shelling, and her six-year-old sister was injured.
