Russian attempts to advance toward Hryshyne are unsuccessful
According to Ukrinform, the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.
Russian attempts to advance covertly toward Hryshyne, northwest of Pokrovsk, under cover of fog and drizzle have been unsuccessful, the report states.
Units in the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces’ area of control are engaging enemy targets even as they approach the settlement.
According to preliminary information, the Defense Forces eliminated a company-level officer in the Hryshyne area. This caused disorganization among enemy units and reduced their combat capabilities.
Also, according to available data, the invaders are complaining about their inability to enter the settlement without difficulty and to move within its borders. They are suffering from a shortage of water and food. There have been recorded instances of the enemy attempting to move through Hryshyne in search of food.
As reported by Ukrinform, the 7th Rapid Response Corps said that, after unsuccessful attempts to bypass Hryshyne, located near Pokrovsk, Russian troops are now attempting to attack it with a frontal assault.
