Russian shelling damages train station in Sloviansk; four railway workers wounded

The Russian army struck railway infrastructure in Sloviansk; four people were wounded, one of whom is in critical condition.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Telegram by Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine and Minister for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksii Kuleba.

“The enemy struck the railway infrastructure in Sloviansk. As a result of the attack, railway infrastructure facilities and a locomotive depot were damaged, and some windows of the train station building were shattered. Railway workers quickly took cover; however, unfortunately, four employees of the locomotive depot were injured,” the statement reads.

According to Kuleba, one female employee is in critical condition. All the victims have been hospitalized and are receiving the necessary medical care.

As reported yesterday, March 30, Russian forces carried out an airstrike on the central part of Sloviansk: A man was injured, and the only maternity hospital in the Donetsk region was damaged.
