Fighters of Apachi battalion destroy Russian crossing with drones on Sloviansk axis
According to Ukrinform, the Apachi battalion stated this on Telegram.
"On the Sloviansk axis, Russian troops are actively using infiltration tactics with small groups. All shelters and hiding places that the enemy sets up for protection from drones and bad weather are promptly detected and destroyed by the Apachi UAV unit," the statement said.
It is noted that the enemy continues attempts to cross the Bakhmutka River, quickly constructing pontoon crossings. Reconnaissance detects them in time, and Apachi pilots destroy the bridges before the Russians can use them. In addition, Russian forces are trying to disrupt Ukrainian logistics using so-called "loitering drones" with fiber-optic control and backup power. Thanks to the unit's hexacopters, these drones are successfully destroyed, significantly increasing the safety of Ukrainian logistics routes, the military emphasized.
As Ukrinform reported, soldiers of the 118th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, together with adjacent units, repelled a Russian mechanized assault near the village of Mala Tokmachka in the Zaporizhzhia region, neutralizing enemy equipment and 20 invaders.
