Russian troops strike energy facility in Odesa region overnight, causing power outages

Overnight in the Odesa region, Russian forces attacked civilian infrastructure and an energy facility, resulting in power outages.

Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

“Last night, the enemy once again launched insidious attacks on civilian and energy infrastructure in the Odesa region. An energy facility was damaged. One of the drones struck a private residential building, partially destroying the facade. There is also damage within the grounds of a cottage community,” Kiper reported.

According to him, the fires were quickly extinguished. No reports of casualties or injuries have been received. Due to the attack, there are power outages in a number of settlements.

All relevant services are working at the sites of the incidents; assessment of the damage and cleanup efforts are ongoing.

As reported by Ukrinform, the number of casualties from the Russian attack on Odesa has risen to 14, with two people killed.
