Air Defense Forces shoot down 252 of the 273 Russian drones

Starting at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27, the enemy launched 273 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas types, as well as other types of drones, from the following directions: Orel, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation), and Hvardiiske (temporarily occupied Crimea), with approximately 180 of them being Shahed-type drones.
The main target of the strike was the Odesa region.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, Air Defense Forces shot down or neutralized 252 enemy UAVs.
Twenty-one combat UAVs hit 18 locations, and downed UAVs (or debris) were found at 9 locations.
After 7:00 a.m., the Russians launched repeated drone strikes on the Odesa region and other regions in the north and east. The results of the combat operations are being clarified.
As reported by Ukrinform, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russian invaders attacked Odesa with more than 60 combat drones on the night of March 28.
According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, a woman and a man were killed in Odesa. Eleven people were injured, including a 9-year-old boy.
On the morning of March 28, Russian forces attacked Kryvyi Rih. An industrial facility was hit. Two men were killed, and two others were injured.
