Drone attack on Vinnytsia region: Injury toll rises to 20, one killed

In Vinnytsia, the number of people injured as a result of a Russian drone attack on March 24 has increased to 20, and damage to 71 households has been recorded.

Vinnytsia Mayor Serhii Morhunov reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"As a result of the attack, 20 people were injured. Seven of them have been hospitalized," he wrote.

According to him, as of now, 71 households in Vinnytsia have been reported damaged. As a result of the enemy attack, buildings of a kindergarten, the Sadovskyi Music and Drama Theater, and the summer theater premises in the park were damaged.

Earlier, the head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration, Nataliia Zabolotna, reported 18 injured.

"The number of injured in the Vinnytsia region has risen to 18. Two of the wounded remain in serious condition, and four others are in moderate condition," Zabolotna wrote. According to her, damage has currently been recorded to 35 private houses, seven apartment buildings, and four more buildings in public-use areas.

One private house has been completely destroyed, and two have sustained significant damage. In others, blast waves and debris shattered windows and damaged roofs, doors, and facades.

The elimination of the consequences at all strike sites has been completed.

Commissions continue to inspect damaged buildings and document the losses. All necessary information is being collected for further reconstruction and to provide assistance to residents.

As reported, damage from the Russian drone attack on March 24 was recorded in three communities of the Vinnytsia region. Earlier, it was known about one fatality and 13 injured.
