Slavutych in Kyiv region left without power after morning Russian attack

Around 21,000 residents of Slavutych in the Kyiv region were left without centralized electricity supply following a Russian attack.

According to Ukrinform, Mykola Kalashnyk, head of the regional state administration, announced this on Telegram.

"Following the morning attack, Slavutych has been temporarily left without centralized electricity supply. About 21,000 residents are without power," he said.

According to Kalashnyk, energy crews are already working to restore electricity to every household as quickly as possible.

Critical infrastructure has been switched to backup power sources. Heating and water supply remain operational. Social institutions are functioning on generators. Communications and internet services are still available. Resilience centers are open and ready to receive residents, he added.

Ukrinform reported earlier that Ukraine's air defense forces neutralized 121 out of 147 drones launched by Russia starting from the evening of March 24.
