War update: 168 clashes on front lines, Pokrovsk sector hottest
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said this in a Facebook update on the situation as of 08:00 on Tuesday, March 24.
The enemy carried out one missile strike using four missiles, 75 airstrikes dropping 255 guided bombs, 9,027 kamikaze drones, and 3,727 artillery attacks, including 86 from multiple launch rocket systems.
Russian forces conducted airstrikes near Bachivsk in theSumy region, Prosiana, Oleksiivka, Ivanivka, Pokrovske, and Oleksandrivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region, Verkhnia Tersa, Vozdvyzhivska, Babashi, Danylivka, Zalyvne, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Dolynka, and Omelnyk in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Ukrainian aircraft, missile troops, and artillery struck six areas of enemy personnel concentration, a UAV control point, and a Russian command and observation post.
On the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes, there were 13 clashes, and the enemy carried out 85 attacks, including three from MLRS.
On the Southern Slobozhanshchyna axis, invaders conducted five assaults near Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory, Starytsia, and Okhrimivka.
On the Kupiansk axis, the Russian army attacked Ukrainian positions six times near Petropavlivka, Borivska Andriivka, Novoplatonivka, and Bohuslavka.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy launched five attacks, attempting to breach Ukrainian defenses near Lyman, Dibrova, and Drobysheve.
On the Sloviansk axis, Ukrainian forces repelled seven enemy attempts to advance in the areas of Yampil, Rai-Oleksandrivka, Platonivka, and Riznykivka.
On the Kramatorsk axis, Russian forces did not conduct any offensive actions.
On the Kostyantynivka axis, the enemy carried out 17 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Kleban-Byk, Sofiivka, Ivanopillia, and toward Novopavlivka.
On the Pokrovsk axis, Ukrainian forces repelled 34 Russian assault actions in the areas of Toretske, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Hryshyne, Pokrovsk, Filiia, Udachne, Molodetske, and toward Novooleksandrivka and Svitle.
On the Oleksandrivka axis, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions ten times in the areas of Oleksandrohrad, Stepove, Novohryhorivka, Krasnohirske, and Zlahoda.
On the Huliaipole axis, there were 18 Russian attacks near Olenokostiantynivka, Zaliznychne, Huliaipole, Varvarivka, Zelene, Sviatopetrivka, and Myrne.
On the Orikhiv axis, no active Russian offensive actions were recorded.
On the Dnipro River axis, Ukrainian units repelled one enemy attack near Bilohruodnyi Island.
On the Volyn and Polissia axes, no signs of Russian offensive groupings were detected.
