Russian strikes on Poltava region kill two, injure 11

Two people were killed and 11 injured as a result of Russian strikes in the Poltava region in the early hours of Tuesday, March 24.
Vitalii Diakivnych, head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"Unfortunately, two people were killed and seven others were injured as a result of the attack," he wrote.
Medics are providing all necessary assistance to the victims.
Earlier, the official reported that the enemy attack in the Poltava community caused damage to residential buildings and a hotel. Fires broke out.
As of 04:00 a.m., Diakivnych specified that the number of injured had increased to 11.
On March 20, Russian forces attacked the Poltava region with drones, damaging power lines and equipment at an enterprise.
