General Staff: 187 clashes on frontline, over quarter in Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka sectors

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced in its operational update published on Facebook.

The enemy carried out 62 airstrikes, dropping 173 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it deployed 5,176 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,902 shelling attacks on settlements and Ukrainian troop positions.

In the North Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Russian forces launched 85 shelling attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including one using MLRS, and carried out six airstrikes with 20 guided bombs. Two combat engagements were recorded there.

In the South Slobozhanshchyna sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions 19 times toward Prylipka, Lyman, Starytsia, Vovchansk, Tykhe, Bochkovе, Okhrimivka, Zybyno, Chuhunivka, Fyholivka, and Krasne Pershe. One assault is ongoing.

In the Kupiansk sector, Russian troops launched nine attacks toward Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Hlushkivka, Novoplatonivka, and Borivska Andriivka. Three attacks are ongoing.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 16 assaults near Hrekivka, Nadiia, Novomykhailivka, Novoserhiivka, Olhivka, Serednie, Korovii Yar, Drobysheve, Zarichne, Lyman, Dibrova, and Tverdokhlibove. One engagement continues.

In the Sloviansk sector, the enemy attempted 12 advances toward Zakitne, Riznykivka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, and Platonivka. One attack is ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian forces made two attempts to improve their tactical position toward Malynivka and Kostiantynivka.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, Russian troops carried out 24 assaults toward Kostiantynivka, Kleban-Byk, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka, Novopavlivka, and Stepanivka. One assault is ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk sector, the enemy launched 27 attacks near Novyi Donbas, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Bilytske, Sukhetske, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novopidhorodnie, and Novopavlivka. One attack is still underway.

Preliminary estimates indicate that 151 Russian troops were killed and 41 wounded in this sector alone today. Ukrainian forces also destroyed two armored fighting vehicles and ten vehicles, damaged 30 shelters, a UAV control point, two artillery pieces, and eight vehicles. A total of 242 enemy drones of various types were destroyed or suppressed.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions nine times near Sichneve, Sosnivka, Krasnohirskе, and Zlahoda. One attack is ongoing.

In the Huliaipole sector, eight attacks were recorded near Zelene, Zaliznychne, Dobropillia, and Myrne. Two engagements are ongoing.

In the Orikhiv sector, the enemy carried out one attack toward Stepove.

In the Dnipro River sector, no enemy offensive operations were recorded.

No significant changes were observed in other sectors.
