Military counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), with support from the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the head of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces, detained an agent in the Kharkiv region who was simultaneously working for Russia's FSB Federal Security Service and the intelligence branch of the Belarusian border service.

The suspect was a serviceman in an Unmanned Systems Forces unit, Ukrinform reports, citing the SBU.

While serving as a UAV operator, he provided the enemy with information on movement routes, types, and numbers of Ukrainian drones engaged in battles along the northeastern border.

Following instructions from enemy intelligence, he was reassigned as an operator of Ukraine's ground robotic complexes, which are used to evacuate wounded personnel and deliver ammunition on the Izium front.

Instead of performing his duties at the front, the agent began collecting data on the location and operational plans of adjacent Ukrainian units.

At the same time, he compiled information for the enemy on the technical specifications and operational use of Ukraine's latest robotic systems.

After completing his espionage tasks, the agent intended to escape to Russia across the front line, where he was to be met by Russian intelligence operatives.

The SBU's military counterintelligence acted preemptively, documenting the agent's subversive activities.

After securing the locations of Ukrainian troops, the enemy "mole" was arrested at his place of residence in the Kharkiv region.

During searches, authorities seized two smartphones containing evidence of his work for Russian and Belarusian intelligence services.

The SBU investigators charged him under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (treason committed during martial law).

The suspect remains in custody without the right to post bail. He faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
