Russian strike on Kharkiv kills one, injures two
Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"One person was killed and another injured as a result of Russian shelling of the Kholodnohirskyi district of Kharkiv. The deceased man was 54 years old. A 45-year-old man sustained blast injuries and is being hospitalized," the statement said.
Syniehubov later specified that the number of those injured rose to two.
"A 23-year-old man was also injured in the Kholodnohirskyi district. He is being hospitalized with injuries," the official added.
Emergency services are continuing to work at the scene of the strike, Syniehubov said.
On March, 16 Russian forces struck an enterprise in the Nemyshlianskyi district of Kharkiv, leaving three people injured.
