Ukraine’s forces hit multiple military targets in Russia, occupied territories

On March 16 and during the night of March 17, Ukrainian Defense Forces struck key Russian military targets in Russia’s Bryansk region, temporary occupied Crimea, and in occupied parts of the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions.

Ukrinform reports this, citing the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

As part of efforts to reduce the offensive potential of the Russian forces, Ukrainian Defense Forces units carried out strikes on key enemy military facilities on March 16 and during the night of March 17.

Specifically, strikes were recorded against a TOR-M2U surface-to-air missile system in the area of Klintsy (Bryansk region, Russia), as well as against the concentration area of the missile division of the 15th Separate Coastal Missile Brigade of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, armed with Bastion coastal missile systems, near Verkhnekurgannoye (temporarily occupied territory, Crimea).

In addition, a Russian communications node was struck in the area of Mangush (temporarily occupied territory, Donetsk region).

Among military logistics facilities, a fuel and lubricants depot in Melitopol was struck, as well as ammunition depots near Stepne and Terpinnia (temporarily occupied territory, Zaporizhzhia region).

A UAV training center near of Henichesk Hirka (temporarily occupied territory, Kherson region) was also struck.

Additionally, Ukrainian Defense Forces struck Russian UAV command posts near Huliaipole and Obratne (Zaporizhzhia region) and targeted clusters of enemy personnel near Chasiv Yar (Donetsk region).

The scale of the inflicted damage and Russian army losses are being clarified.
