Shelling in Sumy region: Two dead and nine wounded; energy and railway infrastructure damaged

In the Sad community, Russians attacked a grain truck with a UAV, killing a 40-year-old man.
In the Velyka Pysarivka community, Russians struck a motorcycle with a drone, killing a 48-year-old man.
In the Sumy community, men aged 39, 43, and 51, and women aged 30 and 56, were injured as a result of a UAV attack. A 67-year-old man was also wounded when explosives were dropped from a UAV.

In the Shostka community, a 46-year-old man and woman were wounded as a result of an attack by enemy drones.
In the Richky community, a 61-year-old man was injured.
In several communities, residential buildings, energy infrastructure, private cars, transformers, railroad tracks, and power lines have been damaged.

Police investigative teams and bomb disposal experts are working at the sites of the strikes. Law enforcement officers are conducting inspections of the areas and documenting the damage caused by the shelling.
According to the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Russian forces carried out over 90 strikes on 34 settlements in the Sumy region over the past 24 hours. The highest number of strikes was recorded in the Sumy and Shostka districts.
The enemy used mortars, artillery, FPV drones, UAVs, and guided aerial bombs against the region.


As reported on Facebook by the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories, enemy drones attacked a railway in the Sumy region. The strike caused a fire in a non-operational railcar, which rescue workers quickly extinguished.
Employees were in shelters—no one was injured. All relevant services are working on site, and efforts to address the aftermath of the attacks are ongoing.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Russian army struck the southern part of the Odesa region overnight, damaging energy, industrial, and port infrastructure facilities.
