Russia loses 930 troops in war against Ukraine over past 24 hours

Russia lost another 930 troops in its war against Ukraine over the past 24 hours, bringing its total personnel losses to about 1,280,860 since the start of the full-scale invasion.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

As of March 17, Ukrainian defenders have also destroyed 11,783 (+2) Russian tanks, 24,218 (+3) armored combat vehicles, 38,477 (+20) artillery systems, 1,688 (+1) multiple launch rocket systems, and 1,333 (+0) air defense systems.

In addition, Russia has lost 435 (+0) aircraft, 349 (+0) helicopters, 183,144 (+1,991) operational-tactical UAVs, and 4,468 (+0) cruise missiles.

Ukrainian forces have also destroyed 33 (+0) ships/boats, two (+0) submarines, 83,744 (+120) vehicles and fuel tankers, and 4,091 (+0) units of special equipment.

According to earlier reports, 152 combat engagements were recorded along the frontline on March 16, with the heaviest fighting taking place on the Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk fronts.
