Russian troops ordered to behead fallen comrades instead of evacuating bodies – Ukrainian intelligence
That is according to an intercepted conversation released on Facebook by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.
"Instead of a dignified burial, Russian soldiers face the axe of their comrades following orders from above. This is not an isolated case, but a well-established 'tradition' within the occupying forces," the intelligence agency said.
According to intelligence data, Russian commanders with the call signs "Fak" and "Alladin" have repeatedly issued orders to decapitate bodies instead of evacuating them, acting on direct instructions from higher command.
Russian servicemen themselves say such orders are driven by the difficulty of carrying entire bodies off the battlefield. If a body remains there for a long time, evacuation becomes "a problem."
Even in internal communications, the invaders try to avoid discussing the issue openly, switching from direct radio transmissions to private messages.
As reported earlier, Russian commanders are also forcing soldiers to advance to positions despite injuries.
