Russian shelling of Kharkiv region leaves two emergency medical workers killed
The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov stated this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"Near the village of Chervona Khvylia in the Velykyi Burluk community, a 27-year-old and a 56-year-old man were killed, while a 54-year-old man was injured, all members of an emergency medical response team," Syniehubov wrote.
According to him, over the past day 21 settlements in the Kharkiv region came under enemy attack.
"In the city of Kupiansk, a 63-year-old woman was injured," Syniehubov noted.
According to his information, the Russian army used various types of weapons against the Kharkiv region: 1 guided aerial bomb (KAB), 10 Geran-2 type UAVs, 1 Lancet UAV, 1 Molniya UAV, 6 FPV drones, and 14 UAVs of types that have not yet been identified.
Civilian infrastructure facilities in the region were damaged or destroyed. In the Bohodukhiv district, five private houses, three outbuildings, and a garage were damaged in the village of Oleksiivka; four private houses and a car were damaged in the village of Pokrovka; and railway infrastructure was damaged in the village of Maiak.
In the Kupiansk district, a civilian enterprise was damaged in the settlement of Prykolotne; three private houses and two outbuildings were damaged in the village of Spodobivka; a car was damaged in the village of Nova Oleksandrivka; and an emergency medical vehicle was damaged in the village of Chervona Khvylia.
In the Izium district, two private houses and outbuildings were damaged in the settlement of Borova.
In the Kharkiv district, a private house and a car were damaged in the village of Ruska Lozova; a warehouse facility was damaged in the settlement of Solonytsivka; and a private house and a club building were damaged in the village of Hryhorivka.
In the Chuhuiv district, power lines were damaged in the village of Kochetok, and a private house was damaged in the village of Khotimlia.
It is also noted that the transit evacuation point in Lozova received 89 people over the past day. Since the beginning of its operation, 22,723 people have been registered there.
As Ukrinform previously reported, the day before Russian occupiers attacked the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv with a combat drone, causing a fire at the scene.
