Russian attacks hit civilian infrastructure in Sumy region, three injured

Russian forces attacked civilian infrastructure in the Sumy region on March 14, injuring three civilians, according to the Sumy Regional Military Administration.

According to Ukrinform, the administration reported on Telegram that the Shostka community was targeted by drones. A city bus was near the impact site at the time of the strike.

A 64-year-old bus driver was injured in the attack. He received medical assistance but did not require hospitalization. Passengers were not harmed. Several residential buildings and civilian vehicles were also damaged.

Russian forces also dropped a guided aerial bomb on the Berezivka community, damaging a local post office building.

Two women, aged 55 and 66, were injured in the strike and hospitalized.

In addition, a Russian attack drone struck a suburban passenger train in the Verkhnia Syrovatka community.

"The attack caused a fire, but there were no casualties. Passengers are safe," the regional administration said.

Earlier reports said a Russian drone hit a passenger train near the city of Sumy on March 14.
