Russian forces shell Kherson during morning, leaving six injured, including three children

Russian troops shelled the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson in the morning, leaving several people injured.

According to Ukrinform, the Kherson Regional Military Administration stated this on Telegram.

At around 09:00, Russian forces shelled the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. As a result of the attack, three women aged 50, 47, and 78 sustained concussions, blast injuries, and closed traumatic brain injuries. At the moment of the strike, they were inside an apartment. The injured were taken to hospital in moderate condition.

At around 10:00, three children were injured as a result of Russian shelling of the central part of Kherson. A 12-year-old girl and two boys aged 11 and 13 suffered blast injuries and acute stress reactions. The youngest child was also diagnosed with a shrapnel wound to the head. They are currently in hospital.

In addition, a woman who had been trapped in a home destroyed by the shelling was successfully rescued.

It is also reported that two people who had been injured the previous day due to Russian strikes on Kherson were taken to hospital. At around 22:00, a 62-year-old man came under fire in the Korabelnyi district. He sustained shrapnel wounds to the back, a concussion, and blast and closed traumatic brain injuries. At approximately 23:20, during another enemy attack in the Dniprovskyi district, an 86-year-old woman suffered a blast injury and an acute stress reaction.

As Ukrinform previously reported, one person was killed and seven others were injured in the Kherson region over the past day as a result of Russian shelling.
