Following Russian attack, some consumers in Kyiv region lose gas, heat, and electricity
According to Ukrinform, the head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk, stated this on Telegram.
According to him, in the Obukhiv district six settlements were left without gas supply: the city of Ukrainka, as well as the villages of Veremia, Zhukivtsi, Trypillia, Khalepia, and Shcherbakivka. In total, 7,911 subscribers are affected, most of them in Ukrainka. According to specialists’ estimates, gas supply is expected to be restored within two days.
In Ukrainka, heat supply has also been temporarily suspended in 62 apartment buildings, affecting 8,367 subscribers. Heating is also partially unavailable in Obukhiv. Due to damage to the gas supply to one of the city’s boiler houses, heating has been stopped in 64 buildings for 9,689 subscribers. Utility workers are determining how long it will take to eliminate the consequences and are already working to restore the heat carrier in the network, Kalashnyk noted.
In the Brovary, Vyshhorod, and Obukhiv districts, a total of 4,600 subscribers have been left without electricity. Energy workers are working on restoring the supply.
Centralized water supply services in all communities of the region are operating normally.
As Ukrinform reported, since the evening of March 13, air defense forces have neutralized 460 Russian targets, 58 missiles and 402 drones of various types.
President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the main target of this massive Russian attack was the energy infrastructure of the Kyiv region.
