Spox Voloshyn: Russians rotate troops on Velykyi Vilkhovyi, Bilohrudyi, and Nestryha islands

Russian troops are attempting to rotate personnel at observation posts on the islands of Velykyi Vilkhovyi, Bilohrudyi, and Nestryha in the southern region and to move their vessels, but the Ukrainian Defense Forces are regularly destroying their boats.

This was reported by Vladislav Voloshin, spokesperson for the Southern Defense Forces, in a comment to Ukrinform.

“The enemy is currently rotating its observation posts located on the islands of Velykyi Vilkhovyi, Bilohrudyi, and Nestryha [Kherson region], attempting to replace the personnel stationed there,” he noted.

According to the spokesperson, Russian troops are also attempting to move their vessels in the Zaliznyi Port area, but Ukrainian defenders are destroying them.

“Two boats were destroyed over the past day. Before that, we were also destroying boats in this area almost every day,” Voloshin added.

As reported by Ukrinform, over the past day, March 12, the invaders did not conduct any assault operations in the Dnipro region.
