Russians attack residential areas in Zaporizhzhia

Russian troops struck Zaporizhzhia, damaging residential buildings.

The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov stated this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"Russians attacked residential buildings and recreational facilities in Zaporizhzhia," the statement said.

According to Fedorov, the drone attack damaged residential houses and non-residential buildings in one of the city's districts.

So far, no information about casualties has been reported. Emergency services are working at the scene, and municipal workers have begun eliminating the consequences of the attack.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Air Force warned about a UAV attack. Explosions were heard in the city.

As Ukrinform previously reported, Russian forces attacked one of Zaporizhzhia's districts on the evening of March 12. The city experienced problems with electricity and heat supply.
