Death toll in Russian strike on bus in Kharkiv region rises to three

This was reported on Facebook by the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, as relayed by Ukrinform.

Investigators established that at around 09:05 on Friday, March 13, a missile strike occurred near the village of Nova Oleksandrivka. Preliminary data indicate that Russian forces used an Iskander-M missile.

At the time of the attack, a passenger bus was nearby. Both the bus and private residential houses were damaged.

“As a result of the strike, three people were killed: the bus driver and two passengers. Four others – three female passengers and a local resident – were injured,” the Prosecutor General’s Office stated.

Law enforcement has opened a pre-trial investigation under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – a war crime causing death.

Earlier reports said that in the morning of March 13, the Russian military attacked a passenger bus in the Velykyi Burluk community of the Kharkiv region, leaving one person dead and four injured.

Local authorities noted that the strike was carried out by a drone.
