Two people killed in Sumy region due to Russian aggression

Russian troops carried out nearly 120 strikes on 40 settlements in the Sumy region over the past 24 hours, killing two people and injuring another.

According to Ukrinform, the Sumy Regional Military Administration reported this on Telegram.

In the Mykolaivka rural community, a 32-year-old man was killed, and a 45-year-old man was injured as a result of a Russian drone strike.

In the Khotin community, a 66-year-old man was killed when he stepped on an enemy mine.

The largest number of enemy attacks was recorded in the Sumy and Shostka districts.

Russian troops used mortars, artillery, FPV drones, UAVs, and guided aerial bombs across the region.

In the Shostka community, an apartment building, non-residential premises, civilian infrastructure facilities, and passenger cars were damaged.

In the Hlukhiv community, apartment buildings and administrative premises were damaged.

In the Znob-Novhorod community, a private house was damaged.

In the Esman community, a private residential building was destroyed, and a private house was damaged.

In the Velyka Pysarivka community, a private residential building and a passenger car were damaged.

In the Okhtyrka community, a private residential building and a farm building were damaged.

In the Trostianets community, private residential buildings, non-residential premises, and civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged.

In the Bilopillia community, private residential buildings and a farm building were damaged.

In the Lebedyn community, the premises of an agricultural enterprise were damaged, and cattle were killed and wounded.

In the Mykolaivka rural community, a vehicle was damaged.

In the Nedryhailiv community, non-residential premises, private households, and agricultural equipment were damaged.

Over the past 24 hours, local authorities, together with units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the National Police, and public organizations from border communities, evacuated 54 people.

As reported by Ukrinform, as a result of Russian strikes on March 12 on railway stations in the Sumy and Mykolaiv regions, locomotives and tracks were damaged.
