War update: Russian troops carry out 65 attacks, fiercest battles are in Kostiantynivka sector

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook, publishing information as of 16:00 on Wednesday, March 11.

The invaders struck Khrinivka in the Chernihiv region, Budky, Bezsalivka, Kucherivka, Sosnivka, Iskryskivshchyna, Ryzhivka, Rohizne, Buniakyne, Korenok, and Malushyne in the Sumy region.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, the Russians fired 44 times at populated areas and positions of the Defense Forces, including three times with multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Russian troops attacked once near Prylipka.

In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy advanced twice toward Novoplatonivka.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled four Russian attempts to advance near Drobysheve and Cherneshchyna. One battle is ongoing.

In the Sloviansk sector, the Russian army tried three times to approach Ukrainian positions in the Rai-Oleksandrivka area. One attack is ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the invaders have not yet carried out active offensive operations today.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, the Russians carried out 18 offensive operations near Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Berestok, and Sofiivka. Three battles are ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 15 enemy assaults in the areas of Bilytske, Nykyforivka, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Kotlyne, Udachne, Muravka, Novopidhorodne, and Novoplatonivka. Three combat engagements are still ongoing.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, Russian troops carried out one offensive operation toward Ternove. They launched air strikes on Kolomiika and Pysanka.

In the Huliaipole sector, the Russian army carried out 14 attacks in the areas of Huliaipole, Novoukrainka, Zaliznychne, Tsvitkove, and Myrne. Six clashes are ongoing.

Enemy air strikes were carried out in the areas of Shyroke, Charivne, and Dolynka.

In the Orikhiv sector, the invaders have not yet resorted to active offensive actions today.

One combat engagement occurred in the Prydniprovske sector. Russian aviation struck Malokaterynivka.

No significant changes in other sectors. No new attempts by the Russian army to advance have been recorded.

The Ukrainian army is exhausting the enemy along the entire front and in the rear.

As reported by Ukrinform, Russian troops are trying to break through in the village of Popivka in the Sumy region. Their attempts are not successful.
