In the area of the Pokrovsk–Myrnohrad agglomeration, the situation remains complicated, and signs have been recorded that the enemy is preparing to intensify offensive operations using accumulated reserves.

Spokesperson for the Operation Task Force East, Hryhorii Shapoval, stated this in a comment to Ukrinform.

According to him, Russian troops are increasing the number of airstrikes and the use of other firepower. At the same time, units of the Defense Forces are holding positions on the northern outskirts of Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad.

"In the area of responsibility of the Operation Task Force East, since the beginning of the day our warriors have repelled 30 assaults by Russian troops. In the Sloviansk direction, the aggressor attacked three times in the areas of Zakytne and Platonivka. One engagement is ongoing. In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy attacked near Nykyforivka. The battle is still ongoing. In the Kostiantynivka direction, the invaders carried out 14 offensive actions in the areas of Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Shcherbynivka, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka, and toward Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, and Novopavlivka," Shapoval said.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the occupiers tried 13 times to push Ukrainian soldiers from their positions in the areas of Shakhove, Myrnohrad, Rodynske, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, and Molodetske. One attack is ongoing.

Shapoval emphasized that Ukrainian defenders are conducting intensified aerial reconnaissance, additional mining of likely enemy advance routes, and blocking its logistics, while systematically carrying out search-and-strike operations. Drone units, artillery, and aviation are working actively.

As Ukrinform reported, Russian troops are trying to fully capture Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad in the Donetsk region.
