After Ukrainian strikes, Russia no longer has missile carriers in Sea of Azov

There are currently no Russian ships carrying cruise missiles in the Sea of Azov.

According to a Ukrinform correspondent, Dmytro Pletenchuk, spokesman for the Ukrainian Naval Forces, announced this during a television broadcast.

“There are no carriers, no ships there. Last year, they entered the area twice for a long time, but after the strikes by the Defense Forces, they quickly left,” Pletenchuk said.

He noted that the waters of the Sea of Azov are risky for the Russian fleet, as they are within range of various weapons systems of the Defense Forces, in particular the Navy.

At the same time, according to him, the so-called “gray fleet” continues to navigate in this area; Russian ships that operate only between ports of the Russian Federation and do not enter international ports.

As reported, Ukrainian defenders hit three Russian Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun systems in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
