Strike on high-rise building in Kharkiv: Eleven bodies found under rubble
According to Ukrinform, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported this on Telegram.
“The body of the ninth victim was removed from the rubble,” Terekhov wrote.
Later, Terekhov reported a tenth victim.
The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office reported that 11 people were victims of the strike.
“As of 2:10 p.m., 11 people are known to have died, including two children,” the statement said.
As reported by Ukrinform, the entrance to a five-story residential building in the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv was almost destroyed as a result of the enemy strike. Ten people were reported injured, including boys aged 6 and 11 and a 17-year-old girl.
Eleven people are known to have died under the rubble of the building, including two children.
March 9 has been declared a day of mourning in Kharkiv for those who died as a result of the missile strike on the high-rise building.
