Russians shell Inhulets with artillery, one killed

Russian forces shelled the village of Inhulets in the Kherson Oblast with artillery, killing an 81-year-old man.

According to Ukrinform, the Kherson Oblast Prosecutor's Office stated this on Telegram.

"Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the commission of a war crime that resulted in a person's death," the statement said.

According to the investigation, on March 6, 2026, at around 08:10, servicemen of the Russian army carried out an artillery strike on the village of Inhulets in Kherson region.

As a result of the shelling, an 81-year-old man who was outside at the time was killed.

The Kherson City Military Administration also released a video showing the aftermath of an enemy drone attack that occurred at around 13:00 in the Centralnyi district of Kherson.

Following the strike, several parked cars caught fire. Although firefighters arrived quickly, the blaze completely destroyed four vehicles.

As Ukrinform previously reported, the number of medics injured in a Russian shelling of a hospital in Kherson has risen to two.
