“The 330 kV Ostrovske substation near the village of Ostrovske in the Pervomaiske district was on fire. This is the most important power distribution hub on the peninsula,” the message says.

It is noted that this substation was already damaged on January 15, when power was lost in four districts: Dzhankoi, Pervomaiske, Krasnohvardiiske, and Rozdolnenske.

In addition, a fire was reported on the peninsula near the village of Pushkine in the Kurman (formerly Krasnohvardiiske) district, not far from the Vesele Airfield. The Russians began actively using the inactive airfield after the start of the full-scale war.

According to Russian media, drones were spotted in the area at night.

It is also reported that on the evening of March 5, due to a drone attack, part of Sevastopol was left without electricity, and explosions and gunfire were heard at the Belbek Airfield.
