Russia loses 900 troops in Ukraine war over past day

Russia suffered approximately 1,270,400 casualties in Ukraine between February 24, 2022 and March 5, 2026, with 900 soldiers killed or wounded in the past 24 hours.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Ukrainian forces have destroyed 11,727 (+4) Russian tanks, 24,142 (+7) armored fighting vehicles, 37,915 (+41) artillery systems, 1,667 multiple rocket launchers, 1,319 anti-aircraft warfare systems, and 4,384 cruise missiles. The Russian army has also lost 435 warplanes, 348 helicopters, 158,381 (+1,950) operational-tactical UAVs, 30 warships/cutters, 2 submarines, 81,434 (+210) vehicles and fuel trucks, and 4,079 (+1) pieces of special equipment.
