Air Defense Forces destroy 127 of 136 Russian drones
According to Ukrinform, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.
Starting at 6 p.m. on Monday, March 2, the Russians attacked with 136 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types of combat UAVs from the following directions: Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation), and Hvardiiske (temporarily occupied Crimea). About 80 of them were Shahed-type.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3, Air Defense Forces shot down/jammed 127 drones in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.
Five combat UAVs hit three locations, and downed targets (debris) fell in three locations.
The attack continues, with several enemy drones in the airspace.
As reported by Ukrinform, on the evening of March 2, an air raid alert was declared in Kyiv and several regions of Ukraine due to the threat of Russian strike drones.
In the Odesa region, port and transport infrastructure facilities were damaged as a result of the attack by Russian combat drones.
