Defense forces eliminate group of Russian soldiers near Hryshyne
According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Telegram by the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy advanced during daylight hours and across open terrain in the area of responsibility of the 7th Corps of the Airborne Assault Forces, attempting to storm Hryshyne, northwest of Pokrovsk. The Russians hoped for the element of surprise, but were met with the coordinated efforts of Ukrainian soldiers.

Aerial reconnaissance detected and tracked the invaders. “At the right moment, pilots of the 155th Airborne Brigade, in cooperation with their allies, gave the occupiers a ‘warm’ welcome,” the Airborne Forces said.
As reported by Ukrinform, the total combat losses of Russian troops from February 24, 2022, to February 26, 2026, in the war against Ukraine amount to approximately 1,263,850 personnel.
