On the morning of February 26, Russian troops again shelled Zaporizhzhia, damaging an educational institution. Children were in shelters during the shelling.
According to Ukrinform, Ivan Fedorov, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.
“The attack on the regional center continues—another enemy strike. Damage to the building of one of the educational institutions has been recorded. A team has been sent to the site to investigate,” Fedorov wrote.
It is specified that the strike occurred outside the building. During the alarm, 41 children were in the shelter, and no one was injured.
As reported by Ukrinform, the number of victims of the night Russian strike in Zaporizhzhia has risen to nine.
