Ukraine’s forces destroy Russian infantry groups attempting to infiltrate near Sloviansk
According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Telegram by the 81st Separate Airmobile Slobozhanska Brigade of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the military, the enemy’s tactics have remained unchanged over the past week. Every day, Russian forces attempt to infiltrate the inter-positional space of the brigade’s units in small groups, advancing under cover of darkness, using “guide” drones, poor weather conditions, and camouflage to remain undetected.
There has also been an increase in enemy strike and reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles, which complicate logistics by striking the Defense Forces’ supply routes. These are mainly loitering drones and loitering munitions such as Molniya and Lancet.
Cases of remote mining using anti-tank and anti-personnel devices have also been recorded.
Russian forces continue efforts to build up their potential by concentrating in the previously captured areas of Siversk and the Serebrianskyi Forest.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, drone pilots from the Signum Battalion, part of the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, destroyed Russian quad bikes, motorcycles, ground robotic systems, and a grenade launcher in the Serebrianskyi Forest.
