Drones attack chemical plant in Smolensk region

On the night of February 25, the Dorogobuzh chemical plant in the Smolensk region of the Russian Federation was attacked by drones.

According to Ukrinform, the ASTRA Telegram channel reported this.

According to OSINT analysis, a fire was observed at the Dorogobuzh plant.

It is noted that drones had already attacked this enterprise in December 2025.

Dorogobuzh specializes in the production of nitrogen fertilizers and chemical products. The company's products include, in particular, ammonium nitrate, a component used industrially in both civilian and military sectors.

As reported by Ukrinform, on December 11, 2025, PJSC Dorogobuzh, a manufacturer of mineral fertilizers and industrial products, was attacked in the Smolensk region.

Andrii Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, said the Dorogobuzh Thermal Power Plant, which supplies chemicals critical to Russia's defense industry, was on fire.
