Enemies shell 19 settlements: Woman injured in Sumy region
According to Ukrinform, the Sumy Regional Military Administration reported this on Telegram.
“During the day, from the morning of February 24 to the morning of February 25, 2026, Russian troops carried out more than 30 attacks on 19 settlements in 10 territorial communities of the region. Most attacks occurred in the Sumy and Shostka districts,” the report said.
According to the Sumy Regional Military Administration, the enemy used mortars, artillery, FPV drones, UAVs, and guided aerial bombs to attack the territory of the Sumy region.
It is noted that a 37-year-old woman was injured in the Sumy community as a result of an enemy drone strike. Private houses and cars were also damaged.
As a result of the attacks in the Seredyna-Buda community, a private residential building was destroyed, and a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged.
In the Velyka Pysarivka community, a private house was damaged; in the Shostka community, non-residential premises were damaged; and in the Znob-Novhorod and Bereza communities, civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged.
During the day, 13 people were evacuated from the border communities.
The air raid alert in the region lasted 14 hours and 25 minutes.
As reported, Russian troops carried out more than 100 strikes on 36 settlements in 16 communities in the Sumy region during the previous day, from the morning of February 23 to the morning of February 24.
